Abstract
Hervir un Oso (To Boil a Bear) is one of the most unclassifiable recent works of graphic narrative. It is a collection of apparently unrelated weird graphic and verbal ideas, based on logic and metaphorical paradoxes that may (or may not) raise interesting reflections about the nature of art and our perception of life. Roberto Bartual analyses one of these ideas, the possibility that film spectators could actually see what the director is doing in that moment, and one of the logical conclusions derived from it: that creating and intepreting a work of art are two sides of the same coin.
