Tony Venezia studies two tiers of panels from Alan Moore and Bill Sienkiewicz’s comic Big Numbers, describing how they operate both individually and collectively as single and multiple units of time and space. Venezia highlights how the bigger picture is drawn from these slow moments, and how the panels articulate the connection between subject and structure.
