This essay analyses the effects of temporal components in translation from French into Spanish, particularly in an avant-garde comic. If the translator modifies temporal information, he or she will alter or undermine the philosophical aspect of the source text. The analysis demonstrates the consequences of the first interpretation and of the variation in translation unit in the Spanish version.
