| Abstract |
|
This article focuses on French-, English-, and Flemish-Dutch-language comics by Alix Garin, Sarah Leavitt, and Ephameron on aging people with dementia and their female family caregivers. It analyzes how these graphic narratives negotiate embodied experiences and gender roles and how they use different visual-verbal strategies to convey (possible) inner experiences of living with dementia.
