Abstract |
This article reads the graphic account Baddawi by Palestinian American artist Leila Abdelrazaq as a narrative of bearing witness to a refugee childhood. It investigates the ways in which the word-image intersection of the comics form both enables and extends the politics of testimony in a Palestinian narrative that positions a child as its seeing subject.
