Abstract
[Abstract in English below]

In this article, we study representations of Gotham City in Batman comic books. Our hypothesis is that the city of Gotham has been, over time, presented as a place that belongs to Batman but also to his alter ego Bruce Wayne. Gotham urban space is defined by the relationship Bruce Wayne and Batman have with the city. Moreover, the city is also shown as a territory that must be defended against different enemies, and remains under the protection of the superhero.
