Abstract
[Abstract in English below]

Tardi: Drawing, illustrating. Tardi is not only a well-known author of comic strip books, he is also an illustrator of novels, notably Louis-Ferdinand Céline’s. This study aims at pointing out the differences in the text-image relationships in certain artworks, according to the period and to the collaborations, in order to get a closer view of the success (fluidity, finesse, dynamism, reader’s stimulation) achieved by Tardi’s elaborated mode of dissemination and functionality of the images invented and placed in Céline’s unabridged text (Journey to the End of the Night).
