An interview with acclaimed filmmaker Terry Gilliam, who reveals his debt to MAD Magazine and other sources in the creation of his unique cartoons and the development of his satire. His consideration of comics as an inherently subversive medium is well suited to expressing countercultural resistance to dominant ideologies.
