(French abstract below) Rather than deal with script in the strict sense of the term, this article addresses the problem of “pretexts” that is, the textual precursors of the comic strip and motion picture film generally. The approach focuses on the transsemiotic comparison of two modes of textual foreshadowing; it seeks to identify differences between them ascribable to the specific nature of the medium for which each pretext is intended. In what respect does the film scenario or storyboard, on the one hand, and the comic strip, on the other, reflect their respective iconic and narrative orientations ? How do the expressive characteristics of a given medium manifest themselves already at the preliminary, precursive phase of their production? Davantage que de la question du scénario au sens strict, cet article traite plus globalement de la problématique des «avanttextes» de la bande dessinée et du film. La perspective adoptée est celle d'une confrontation transsémiotique : il s'agit d'isoler dans les deux pratiques d'anticipations textuelles, certaines différences relatives à la nature spécifique du support médiatique pressenti. En quoi scénarios ou storyboards de film et de BD portent-ils l'empreinte de leur orientation iconique et narrative respective ?
