Charlotte Salomon was a German-Jewish artist who created a stunning visual diary of her life as a young artist in Nazi Berlin and as a refugee in France; she died in Auschwitz at age twenty-six. To Paint Her Life tells the story of Salomon’s extraordinary life and death.
