This Lightning, This Madness is the first of a projected four-volume series analyzing and exploring the whole of Miracleman, as written by both Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman. This first volume introduces the series and Miracleman’s convoluted history, analyzes the first of Alan Moore’s three books (illustrated by Alan Davis and Garry Leach), and addresses side stories featuring the series’s secondary character Big Ben.
