Adam Lovasz reads Wan's blockbuster Aquaman as part of the narratives of utopia, following Robert Nozick's Anarchy, State, and Utopia (1974), a text that establishes the foundations of a political theory that seeks to legitimize the existence of a minimal state. For Lovasz, Aquaman and the society the story presents can be described using Nozick's ideas on cohabitations and tensions within a common country as a main framework.
